Thank you for stopping by to take a look at Pacific Intercultural Exchange (PIE) YES current student and alumni website. We are excited to be able to bring the site to you.  My name is Jan McInvale, National Director /YES Administrator for PIE.  I have worked with exchange students and PIE in several capacities for 11 years. 

Being involved in student exchange as a host family and as a career has been one of my most fulfilling experiences, both personally and professionally.
P.I.E. is a non-profit educational organization that has been in business for over 30 years and is nationally recognized as an accredited quality exchange program. P.I.E. generally sponsors over 650 students from countries around the world. The success of PIE is due to the students, host families, local area representatives and Regional Managers along with the staff in our headquarters office in San Diego, California. This  network of people, work with students, host families and overseas programs to help make the exchange experience as positive and memorable as possible.

Whether you are an exchange student, host family, or area representative you are about to experience one of the greatest journeys of your life.
As an exchange student you will learn more about yourself and, hopefully, find out how to become more independent and mature in the process. For many of you, this will be the first time that you will be away from your parents for such a long period of time. It can be very intimidating, but let me assure you that there are people with P.I.E. that care about you and will help you deal with any situation that may arise.
